Golden Teacher was first taxonomically classified in the late 1980's. Our Golden Teacher has been tested with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and found to have an average tryptamine content of 1.648%. By comparison, the average Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom contains between 0.6-0.8% tryptamine content (psilocybin, psilocin, baeocystin). We have also tested this variety using the PSILO-Q Test kit, the first ever home-use quantitative psilocybin testing kit. Results show that this variety contains approximately 1.7% tryptamine content. By comparison, the average Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom contains between 0.6 and 0.8% tryptamine content.
